Port presentation

Port Charles Ornano

The port of the city of Ajaccio, and more precisely the Charles Ornano port, is located to the west of the island in the Corse-du-Sud department on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. Formerly called Port de l’Amirauté, it is a lively and dynamic port located at the bottom of the Gulf of Ajaccio.

Its reception capacity is nearly 850 places plus 40 places for passing visitors. Mooring is done on floating pontoons and a concrete quay.

This port has many advantages for boaters. Its location close to the city provides access to numerous leisure activities, activities, amenities, shops and craft shops. Daytime and night access is possible in all weathers, with some subtleties in the southwesterly wind.

Charles Ornano is a quality port equipped with all the services necessary for boaters: fresh water, electricity at the quay and on the pontoon, sanitary facilities (toilets, showers), telephone, fuel, a wifi point, a service guarding, a fairing area, selective waste and used oil containers, a 50-ton lift, a 20-ton crane, etc.
